Conference highlights the role of mathematics in logical reasoning, research, and interdisciplinary learning.

Mata Sundri College for Women, University of Delhi, successfully organised an International Conference on “Foundations of Analysis and Algebra” under the aegis of the Department of Mathematics, in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). The conference aimed to promote advanced research in mathematics while emphasising its importance in developing analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

The conference witnessed the enthusiastic participation of over 250 delegates, including academicians, research scholars, and students from India and abroad. The event featured invited lectures, paper presentations, poster sessions, and interactive discussions on contemporary themes in mathematical analysis and algebra.

Addressing the gathering, Prof. Harpreet Kaur, Principal, Mata Sundri College for Women, underscored that mathematics is not merely an academic discipline but a foundational tool for logical reasoning and informed decision-making in everyday life. Eminent scholars were also felicitated for their significant contributions to the field of mathematics.
