Conference on “Foundations of Analysis and Algebra” emphasises the role of mathematics in logical thinking and research.

Mata Sundri College for Women, University of Delhi, was featured in Dainik Jagran for organising an International Conference on “Foundations of Analysis and Algebra.” The conference was held under the aegis of the Department of Mathematics in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC).

The report highlighted the academic significance of the conference, which brought together over 250 participants, including faculty members, research scholars, and students from India and abroad. In her inaugural address, Prof. Harpreet Kaur, Principal, emphasised that mathematics forms the foundation of logical reasoning, problem-solving, and informed decision-making beyond the classroom.

The conference included paper presentations, poster sessions, and scholarly discussions, contributing to the strengthening of research culture and interdisciplinary learning at the college.
